Incense SEO ("we", "our", "us") operates the web application at seo.special-equip.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Incense SEO service, including our integration with the TikTok for Developers API.
TikTok API integration — summary
Incense SEO connects to TikTok's official API using your explicit OAuth 2.0 authorization. We request read-only access to your profile and video list. We do not post, delete, or modify any content on your behalf, and we never store your TikTok password.

1. Information we collect
From your account registration
- Username and password for the Incense SEO platform
From TikTok (via official API)
When you authorize Incense SEO via TikTok's OAuth 2.0 flow, we receive:
- Profile data (
user.info.basic): display name, avatar URL, open ID - Note: This app does not access your video list. Videos are analyzed only by URL paste, not via your account.
We do not request private messages, financial data, location, or any data beyond the scopes listed above.
Usage data
- Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) and feature usage patterns

- Providing the Incense SEO service: analyzing your TikTok video content to suggest similar video scripts and content ideas
- Authenticating you via TikTok for personalized session management only
- Generating AI-powered script and video concept recommendations based on your content
- Displaying your analysis history in the Incense SEO dashboard
- Authenticating your account and maintaining your session
- Improving our analysis algorithms
- Responding to support requests and complying with legal obligations
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
3. TikTok data handling
Our use of TikTok user data in Incense SEO complies with the TikTok for Developers Terms of Service:
- TikTok data is used solely to provide Incense SEO features to the authorizing user
- Access tokens are stored encrypted and never logged in plaintext
- All TikTok data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion or deauthorization
- TikTok data is never transferred to third parties or used for advertising
4. Data retention
- Account data: retained while your account is active
- TikTok API data (cached video metadata): up to 90 days, then deleted
- On account deletion: all personal data deleted within 30 days

6. Security
We use HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit and encryption at rest. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
7. Children's privacy
Incense SEO is not directed to individuals under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Third-party services
Incense SEO integrates with TikTok for Developers. TikTok's data practices are governed by TikTok's Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect.
